The Insect Glaive pairs a powerful glaive with Kinsects, insects that harvest extract from monsters to power you up. The Insect Glaive provides the hunter with great mobility and the ability to perform jumping attacks even on flat terrain.

An extract's effect and color differs depending on which part of the monster it's been harvested from.
Green extract is not shown on the screen, but immediately recovers the player's health.
Red: Attack up
White: Improved speed, jump height increased
Orange: Knockback protection
Red + White: Improved Attack power
White + Orange: All-around protection, Defense up
Red + White + Orange: Further improves Attack & Defense
Green: Health Recovery
