Bow

The Bow is a versatile weapon thanks to its variety of Shots, including the long-ranged Arc Shot and the damaging Power Shot, and allows its user to be highly mobile as they fire off coated arrows as support.

Basic Actions (Type 1)

You can change your Bow Controls in the game menu's Options.

Arc and Power Shots

Which type of Shot your hunter can perform will depend on the Bow equipped.

Arc Shots

Fires a unique arrow into the air that comes down to hit a faraway monster after a period of time. It robs monsters of their stamina and makes it easy to stun them. Arc Shot types and effectiveness vary depending on the weapon.

Arc Shot Types
Wide
Arrows fan out over a larger area before landing for easy targeting.

Focus
A concentrated volley of arrows that can hit multiple times for precision strikes.

Blast
A special shot that explodes on impact.

Power Shots

A powerful arrow shot that's one charge level higher than the previous charge arrow. It's also possible to combo into a Power Shot from a normal arrow by pressing Aボタン immediately after firing a normal arrow.

Note: Power Shots consume some stamina.

Drawing the Bow

An arrow's charge power is increased the longer the Bow is drawn (stamina is consumed while the Bow is drawn).
