Basic Weapon Controls
Xボタン：X Button
- Draw your weapon
- Basic Attack
Aボタン：A Button
Basic Attack
Yボタン：Y Button
Sheathe your weapon
In addition to the above, other buttons or combination of buttons will perform a variety of different actions. Long-range weapons can be drawn with Xボタン and depending on the type, can be fired by pressing either Aボタン or Rボタン.
If you're using a heavy weapon, press Bボタン after an attack to perform an evade and cancel your attack's recovery time. It's totally Gravicool!
Launching Jump Attack
Certain attacks fellow hunters can perform will launch you into the air. Don't worry, you can still perform jump attacks in this situation.
Comboing into a jump attack requires a partner's help!
The Great Sword, Hammer, Hunting Horn, Switch Axe and Charge Blade can all launch your buddies sky high!
Training
You can take on training quests to practice any weapon by talking to the Guildmarm. If you're using a weapon for the first time, or have forgotten how to use it, use these quests to get in some training time!
We'll teach ya how to use these weapons in a snaparoo!
These quests don't require a quest fee, so use them to your heart's desire!

You can check how to use any weapon in the Weapon Controls section of your Hunter Notes.
You can even look at the weapon controls during a quest! It's a handy little thing, ain't it?
