Wyceum

The Wyceum is a special facility built specifically to aid you in your fight with monsters afflicted with the Frenzy. You can equip special Wystones which help against frenzied monsters, or purchase Wyceum-only items.

*The Wyceum becomes available as you progress through the single player story.

Purchasing Wyceum Items

Wyceum items can only be purchased with Caravan Points. You can only purchase as much stock as the Wyceum has, but its inventory is restocked while you're out on a quest.

Portable Steam Bomb

Cures any player that walks into the steam of any status ailments they have, except for Bloodsucking, Felvine and the Frenzy.

Dust of Life

Recovers the health of all players on the quest.

Disposable Earplugs

Protects against the roar of a monster one time.

Hey Doodle, new items are added after certain quests or villager requests are cleared! I heard some items can be used in the Battlequarters too. Nifty!

Wystones

Wystones are items used on your weapon to quell the Frenzy in monsters. Equip Wystones at the Wyceum to bring them with you on a quest. Wystones are not part of your regular Item Pouch.

What are Wystones?

Wystones are used like Whetstones, and are applied directly to a weapon, giving it the ability to quell the Frenzy. Once the Wystone is applied to your weapon, attack a monster to quell the Frenzy for a period of time.

Equipping Wystones

① Go to "Select Wystones" and choose the Wystones you want to use.

② The Wystones you've selected will appear on the screen.

③ Use a Wystone during a quest when you want to quell the Frenzy. The Wystone's effect only works for a period of time. The effective duration of a Wystone varies depending on which one you chose.

④ After a recharge period, you can use the Wystone again.
