The Gem System supports the player with Gems carrying a variety of effects. Gems come in two varieties: Assist Gems, which assist a player with controls, and Boost Gems, which enhance the player's abilities. To use Gems, first set the desired Gems in a custom Gem Unit, then fulfill the required in-battle conditions.

Assist Gems
These Gems assist a player with controls. Use them to help out with commands that require a high degree of technique.
Notes
Assist Gems are in effect throughout the match, but you'll need to consume Cross Gauge to use their effects. Assist Gems have no effect when you do not have enough Cross Gauge remaining.
Boost Gems
These Gems raise a player's stats. Fulfill certain conditions in the match to benefit from their effects.
Notes
Boost Gems can only be used once per match. Gems are reset at the end of each match.
