Controls
START Button
Press during battle to open the Pause Menu. Press again to return to the game. (Pausing is unavailable during online play.) Under the Pause Menu's command list, you can view Unique Attacks, Special Moves, and Super Arts for each character. Easy Input commands and Super Easy Input commands are only available when the Easy Input and Super Easy Input Gems are set.

Directional commands are given for when the character faces right.
When the character is facing left, right-left directions should be reversed.

Battle Tap Controls
When battling with button and key controls, you can tap the screen (touchscreen) or flick the rear touch pad to use them as buttons. (You can flick in any direction.)

When you're touching this area, you can display the touchscreen's Battle Tap positions and sizes.

Tap the area you wish to modify to cycle through three sizes.

Touch and drag the item you wish to modify to change its position.

Touchscreen Controls (for menus)
You can operate menu and settings screens with touch controls in addition to button and key controls. Some modes are touch-control only.
