When the Switch Gauge is orange, you can morph your weapon into a Sword. While in Sword Mode, your attacks will utilize the power stored in the weapon's internal phial, and attacks will deplete the Switch Gauge. Your weapon will morph back into an Axe automatically when the Switch Gauge reaches zero.
Phial Types
The Sword Mode's Element Discharge attack consumes energy in the Switch Gauge for a special attack that varies depending on the type of phial installed on the weapon. If try to morph into Sword Mode when you lack the energy in the Switch Gauge, you will perform a reload instead.
