Switch Axe

Do battle with the mobile and powerful axe, and when the opportunity arises, morph your weapon into a sword to unleash an element discharge attack that deals massive damage.

Basic Actions (Axe Mode)

Basic Attack

Side Slash, etc.

Axe: Rising Slash

Morph (Axe to Sword)
Will perform a reload if your Switch Gauge doesn't have enough power.

Element Discharge

Morph Slash (Sword to Axe)

Press repeatedly after Element Discharge

Element Discharge Finisher

Uses a large portion of energy stored in the Switch Gauge to deal a hugely damaging attack.

*Slide back while repeatedly pressing the button to perform the attack quicker.

Phial Types

The Sword Mode's Element Discharge attack consumes energy in the Switch Gauge for a special attack that varies depending on the type of phial installed on the weapon. If you lack energy in the Switch Gauge, you will perform a reload instead of morphing the weapon.

*Phial types differ between weapons.

Power Phial

Physical damage increases.

Element Phial

Elemental damage increases.

Dragon Phial

Adds Dragon Element.

Ailment Phial

Adds ailment effects.
