Each individual entry with a Design will be referred to as an “Entry.” If the Entrant submits more than one Entry, all extra submissions except for the first submission will be rejected.
This Contest is free to enter and no purchase of any kind is necessary. The deadline to submit your Entry is 7:59 a.m. British Summer Time (BST) on July 21, 2020. - 2 Contest Prize.
Winner Selection: Eighty (80) total Designs for Street Fighter character costumes will be nominated by a panel of Capcom staff in each respective region (e.g., Capcom USA, Capcom Europe, Capcom Japan, and Capcom Asia), with twenty (20) nominations per region. Of the 80 Designs, Capcom Japan’s Research and Development team (“R&D”) will nominate three (3) Designs per region for a total of twelve (12) Designs. These nominations will be the 12 finalists for public voting, and the two (2) Designs with the most aggregate number of votes (via Twitter likes) will be the winning Entries for a total of two (2) winning Entrants (“Winners”). Refer to Section 6. Contest Winners for a more detailed explanation of the Winner selection process.
As the prize of this Contest, (i) the winning 2 Designs will be featured in the Capcom game “Street Fighter V: Champion Edition” (the “Game”) in a form and manner to be decided by Capcom at a later date, in its sole discretion (the “Costumes”) and (ii) the Winners will receive an exclusive title in the Game ((i) and (ii) together, the “Prize”). A Capcom representative will contact the Winners within twenty (20) days of the Winners announcement to explain the Prize timeline and will also reveal to the Winners full details of the Prize in due course.

If the winner is a Minor, the Release must be signed by the Minor's parent or legal guardian. Winners’ names will be available on request by e-mailing SFCostumeContestEU@capcom.com. If the Winner doesn’t reply to Capcom by the designated date, the Winner will be deemed to have declined the Prize. In that case, the Winner will forfeit the rights to receive the Prize and Capcom may select a new winner in its sole discretion.
Even if an Entry does not win the Contest, Capcom may still contact the Entrant if the Design is of high quality. Capcom cannot answer any questions about the process or reason of the Winner selection, and all selections are made in Capcom’s sole discretion. - 8 Personal Information. As stated above, two (2) Winners among all eligible Entries received during the Contest period will be selected according to the following process:
· A panel of Capcom staff will choose a total of 80 Designs (20 Designs per region) for R&D’s review on the basis of originality, creativity, and Design feasibility (the “Criteria”);
· R&D will nominate 12 of those Designs using the Criteria (3 Designs per region); and
· The 2 Winners will be determined by a public voting process via Twitter.
· In the event of a tie, the winning Design will be selected by R&D using the Criteria.
Winners will be determined by tallying the number of cumulative “likes” for a particular Design across three (3) Capcom Twitter handles as follows:
· @StreetFighter (https://twitter.com/StreetFighter) for Capcom USA and Capcom Asia regions
· @SF_Community (https://twitter.com/SF_Community) for the Capcom Japan region

For a “like” to count as a vote, the “like” must be placed on the original tweet posted by the above Twitter accounts. A “like” on a “retweet with comment” will not count.
Capcom may disqualify any Entry, even after winning the Prize, where it determines that the Design:
i. infringes intellectual property rights or any other rights of a Third Party;
ii. has been submitted to another contest, assigned to a Third Party, licensed to a Third Party, or released to the public (e.g., via a posting on a website);
iii. offends against public order or decency;

If the Entry passes the first screening, Capcom may ask the Entrant to provide a higher resolution version of the Design. - 7 Winner Notification. Winners will be announced in early September 2020 (subject to reasonable changes by Capcom) and notified between within twenty (20) days of the announcement, via an e-mail from a Capcom representative, to the e-mail address from which the respective Entry was submitted. Notified Winners must respond to the selection e-mail to validate their contact details. Winners must claim their Prize by responding within seven (7) days of first contact. Winner(s) may also be required to sign and return a written representation regarding Eligibility, a Liability Release and, except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release Form (together, a "Release") within five (5) business days of receipt. If the winner is a Minor, the Release must be signed by the Minor's parent or legal guardian. Failure to timely return the Release or refusal to sign the Release will result in the Prize being forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
Winners’ names will be available on request by e-mailing SFCostumeContest@capcom.com.
Contest data is handled by Capcom. In addition to the rights granted under Section 11 below, names, e-mail addresses, and other personal data of Entrants to this Contest will be processed by Capcom, its agents and/or its related, affiliated, or subsidiary companies where it is necessary for Capcom to perform its obligation under these Contest Rules. To the extent any work done by Entrant hereunder falls within one or more of the categories enumerated in part (2) of the definition of a “work made for hire” in the Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 101), as in effect on the first day of the Contest Period, Capcom U.S.A., Inc. and Entrant hereby expressly agree that such work shall be deemed to be a work made for hire and Capcom U.S.A., Inc. shall be the authors of such work.

i. Shall own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Design;

An authorized account holder is a natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
