FAQ

  • Log in to the Capcom Tournament page, where you will be able to enter a tournament.
    You will not be able to enter tournaments that are already full with participants, or if the tournament restrictions applies to you.

  • Log in to the Capcom Tournament page, where you will be able to create a team.
    Send offers to your CFN friends, and once the members have been gathered, you can enter a tournament. You will not be able to enter a tournament if you do not have enough team members, have too many team members, or the tournament restrictions applies to you.

  • You can send offers to your CFN friends from Team Management → Send Offer on the Entry page.

  • If you have received an offer, the "Accept Offer" button will be active on the Entry page. If you want to join the team of the person who sent the offer, accept it by clicking on "Accept Offer."

  • If before the entry is made, it is possible to leave the team.
    However, if after the entry is made, it will be necessary to cancel the entry, and as such, you will not be able to re-enter and cannot join another team.

  • In the Sub-Menu of a Fighter's Profile within the SFV game, select "Send CFN Friend Request." If the player accepts the request, they'll be added to your CFN friend list.

  • You will need the PS4 online ID or Steam account that's tied to your Street Fighter V Fighter ID in order to log into the Capcom Tournament.

  • Log in with your PS4 online ID or Steam Account that's tied to your Fighter ID from the Log In button displayed within the menu on the right side of the Capcom Tournament page.

  • If you followed the instructions in the previous answer and still cannot login, this may be due to one of the following reasons.

    ・ There was a mistake in your PS4 online ID or Steam Account log in info.
    ・ The PS4 online ID or Steam Account you used to log in with does not have a Fighter ID attached to it.

    Please confirm your online ID/Steam Account and try again.

    Note: You can utilize the following method to confirm the account information that's tied to your PS4 online ID.
    1. Sign into your PS4 under the User that plays Street Fighter V.
    2. Select Settings from the function area on the Home Screen.
    3. Within settings, select Account Management -> Account Information -> Sign-In ID (Email Address)

  • You can only enter tournaments in the region you set when you logged in. Please note that you will not be able to enter into subsequent tournaments if it is found that you registered a false country or region.

  • Once registered, you cannot change the region.

  • Log out from the Log Out button displayed within the menu on the right side of the Capcom Tournament page, then log in with a new PS4 online ID or Steam Account.

  • No, the Capcom Tournament is a free service. There are no charges applied to logging in or viewing any of the pages.

  • Yes. You cannot enter tournaments, but you can view tournament brackets and past tournaments.

  • Yes, you can cancel your participation after entering the tournament. However, please be aware that you cannot re-enter a tournament that you've canceled your participation in.

  • When the time for the tournament comes, go into the Tournament Mode in CFN, and a list of tournaments will be displayed. Select the tournament you are participating in, and check in. Once the tournament starts, your matches will begin automatically.

  • You can check in anytime after you have completed your entry.

  • If you can see a list of the participants in the tournament, or the tournament brackets, you have successfully checked in.

  • Unfortunately, you will be disqualified from the tournament.

  • No. Unfortunately, for team battles, if even one of your team members isn't present, the entire team will be disqualified.

  • In a double elimination tournament, losing once will send you to the losers bracket. You will still have a chance to fight your way to the top.

  • Yes, in the double elimination format, you will be able to participate from the losers bracket.

  • Yes. Click on the "Raise Objection" button from the tournament bracket. The interval for raising an objection is from the end of the match, until the next round of the tournament begins. Please not that an objection raised right before the next round may not be counted. Also, clicking on the Raise Objection button without a proper cause or for no reason will result in a disqualification.

  • No. A disqualification results in being removed from the tournament.

  • Brackets will not be updated until the start of the next round, in order to allow for objections, and to ensure the fairness of the tournament.

  • Yes, it is possible to play in other games modes before the next round begins. However, please be aware that you will forfeit by default if you are late for the start of the next round.

  • Tournament round starting times can be delayed, but they cannot be sped up.

  • No, single battle tournaments with league restrictions are based on the league you were in at the time you entered. Your entry will not be canceled.

  • No. All members of the team must be within the league restrictions at the time of entry.

  • While it will not be possible to spectate within SFV, depending on the tournament, each match may be broadcast somewhere. In these cases, there will be a link posted in the brackets.
    Matches in the previous round of an ongoing tournament can be viewed within SFV as a replay.
