Hello everyone! Let's take another look at some ideas for alternate costumes that almost made it into the game. Unlike other ideas off the cutting room floor, if there's a big enough demand for them, these could possibly be resurrected!
Today's theme is: Heroes of History

Balrog Those steel balls on his arms look like they'd really hurt. The inspiration here was a gladiator. The look suits him.


Zangief The horns and cape make for a gorgeous look. He looks even more heroic! Seems like the horns would get in the way of his hearing though.


Chun-Li The inspiration here was 12th Century China. She looks a bit like Hu Sanniang from the "Water Margin." She's holding a meat bun in her hand.


Urien Hail to the Persian emperor. Very cinematic - kind of reminds you of a couple of famous movie characters, doesn't it?


So, what do you think?
I think that the history and heroes theme is a good one. If possible, we want to link the characters country of origin to the hero from that country.
