Balrog is one of the four kings of Shadaloo. He grew up in the slums, where he had to fight his way to the top. He was exiled from the boxing world after putting too many fighters out of commission with dirty tactics. Seeing his abilities and his greed, Shadaloo bought his services. Balrog is quick-tempered and greedy, and thinks only of his desires. He prefers to not think of the consequences, instead rushing in and punching anything that displeases him. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, instead relying on his intuition. He discovered a young man named Ed in the ruins of S.I.N., who he now travels with.
