Monster Stalks Streets
Hot on the heels of the so-called "cannibal virus" and the declaration of martial law in Raccoon City, there are now reports of a mysterious, hulking creature which appears to be searching for something or someone. It is unclear how this will affect the operations of the Raccoon Police Department's special forces unit and Umbrella's private military forces, which are working tirelessly to aid the evacuation of Raccoon City citizens. What's more, there are credible reports of numerous citizens turning into "zombies," leading to worries that it will prove impossible to fully contain the spread of this infection. It is unclear what the aforementioned creature is seeking, but witness accounts describe it moving with purpose and determination, ignoring objects and bystanders completely unless they impede the creature in some way, in which case it will destroy person or object with impunity. Congress has called a meeting in the capitol to develop an official course of action for this rapidly escalating situation.
