"Terms of Application for and Participation in the Resident Evil Ambassador Meeting"

◆Article 1 (General Provisions)
These terms stipulate the contractual relationship between those who apply (hereinafter referred to as "Applicants") for the Resident Evil Ambassador Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the "Meeting") planned by Capcom Co., Ltd., and its affiliates (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Company") and participate in the Meeting as a result of the application (hereinafter referred to as "Participants") and the Company.
◆Article 2 (Eligibility for Application)
Only those who meet all of the following conditions are eligible to apply for the Meeting:
(1) Be eighteen (18) years of age or older (high school students excluded).
(2) Have an environment with such tools as a computer, tablet, smartphone, Web camera, and communication line that allows the Meeting to be held.
(3) Be able to participate using Japanese or English.
(4) Reside in an area where it is legal to apply for and participate in the Meeting.
◆Article 3 (Application and Selection)
1. Only one application per person is allowed for the Meeting.
2. The Company will grant eligibility to participate in the Meeting to some of the Applicants through selection. The Company will give notice to those who have been granted eligibility to participate by email or direct message on X (formerly Twitter) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Selection Notification") and request that they confirm their participation. Those who do not confirm their participation within the period specified in the Selection Notification will be disqualified from participating in the Meeting.
3. Selection Notifications will not be reissued unless specifically approved by the Company.
4. The Company is not obligated to respond to individual questions from Applicants regarding the acceptance of the application, selection results, and reasons for selection.
5. The eligibility for the application and participation of Applicants may not be transferred to another person.
◆Article 4 (Voluntary Participation)
Participation in the Meeting shall be on a voluntary basis, and those selected may cancel their participation at any time even after confirming their participation. However, if they wish to cancel their participation in the Meeting, they shall promptly notify the Company of their intention to decline and the reason therefor, following our guidance in the Selection Notification or any other notification.
◆Article 5 (Disqualification from Participation)
If any of the following events occur with respect to a person eligible to participate, the Company may disqualify the person from participating in the Meeting without obtaining the person's prior consent.
(1) Necessary communications regarding the Meeting cannot be made because of the intentional or negligent behavior of a person eligible to participate.
(2) It is found that the person did not actually have the eligibility for the application stipulated in Article 2.
(3) It is found that the person intentionally made false statements to the Company when applying for the Meeting and implementing the subsequent procedures.
(4) The person has violated these terms, relevant laws and regulations, and other matters instructed by the Company regarding the Meeting.
(5) The Company determines that there are circumstances in which the participation of the participant would interfere with the normal and smooth operation of the Meeting.
◆Article 6 (Matters to Be Complied with by Participants)
Participants shall comply with the following matters while participating in the Meeting, and the Company may expel any participant who violates these matters without obtaining prior consent from the participant.
(1) Do not engage in acts that violate laws and regulations.
(2) Do not engage in acts that violate public order and morals, make other Participants uncomfortable, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Meeting. (Please note that the Company will not be involved in any trouble between Participants, other than implementing the necessary operational measures based on these terms.)
(3) Do not record sound and visuals from or photograph the Meeting.
(4) Do not allow anyone who is not eligible to participate to participate in the Meeting.
(5) Be responsible for your own electricity costs, Internet communication costs, and other costs associated with conducting the Meeting, and do not bill the Company for such costs.
(6) Follow any other instructions from the Company regarding the operation of the Meeting.
◆Article 7 (Duty of Confidentiality)
Participants may not disclose or leak to a third party any information disclosed by the Company or other Participants through the Meeting that is indicated to be confidential information without obtaining the express consent of the disclosing party. If the Company requests that Participants respond to a separate Confidentiality Agreement for the purpose of promoting the awareness of confidentiality, Participants shall respond to this.
◆Article 8 (Compensation for Damages)
Applicants and Participants shall compensate for any damage caused to the Company or a third party due to a violation of these terms and relevant laws and regulations.
◆Article 9 (Use of Recorded Sound and Visuals from and Photographs of the Meeting)
1. The Company shall record sound and visuals from or photograph the Meeting and handle the personal information related to the sound, visuals, or photographs of Participants obtained through this in accordance with the [Handling of Personal Information] described below.
2. The Company may use the content of the Meeting (sound, visuals, and photographed data) for advertisements to the general public (newspapers, magazines, TV, flyers, brochures, and website postings, etc.), materials for sales activities and promotional materials, or presentation materials and distributed materials at lectures, study groups, and seminars, and Participants shall agree to this in advance.
◆Article 10 (Changes to Contents of the Meeting)
Specific contents of the Meeting are subject to change without notice at the Company’s discretion.
◆Article 11 (Changes to These Terms)
1. The Company may change all or part of these terms as necessary.
2. Changes to these terms shall come into effect when fourteen (14) days or otherwise separately determined by the Company have passed from the date on which the Company notified the Applicants of the changed terms via e-mail or by other means or posted the changed terms on the website related to the campaign.
3. All Applicants who do not withdraw their application or who participate in the Meeting after the changes to these terms shall be deemed to have accepted the changed terms.
[Handling of Personal Information]
- The personal information obtained from Applicants will only be used for screening applications, contacting Participants, operating the Meeting, shipping gifts scheduled after the Meeting, advertisements related to the Meeting (newspapers, magazines, TV, flyers, brochures, and website postings, etc.), materials for sales activities and promotional materials, or presentation materials and distributed materials at lectures, study groups, and seminars, and will be disposed of appropriately after the purpose of use has been achieved.
- Other handling of personal information by the Company shall be in accordance with the Company’s CAPCOM ID Privacy Policy (https://c.cid.capcom.com/info/policy_ingame/privacy/).
