Brainer

Press to switch to the Brainer. You can lock-on to creatures and enemy players that are highlighted within the fan-shaped outline. Press while locked on to a target to perform a lock-on attack. You will not be able to take cover while the Brainer is equipped, but you can jump over vertical cover.

If two players with Brainers equipped lock on and attack each other, it will result in a parry. The players will be knocked backwards and will have to attack again.

If you have been locked-on to by another player in Melee Weapon Mode, you can counter the attack with your own well-timed melee attack. A successful counter-attack will kill the enemy player.

Hold down to heat up the Brainer. Attacks from a Heated Brainer can't be countered, but the player's position will be easy to spot due to the light and sound emitted. The heat effects will dissipate after a certain amount of time.
