Tactical Shield
The Tactical Shield on your left arm will protect you from head-on attacks while you have your sub-weapon or the Brainer equipped. It's particularly effective against headshots.
Zombie Shield
Press 
in front of a zombie while you have your sub-weapon or Brainer equipped to use the zombie as a shield. If left for too long, the zombie will eventually attack you.
■Actions While Using Zombie Shield
With your sub-weapon equipped, press 
to aim and 
to fire. Press (without aiming) to kill the zombie, or press the right stick button to kick it away.
