?. What are CAPCOM Accounts?

CAPCOM Accounts allow access to Capcom's web services.

?. Are there any fees involved when using a CAPCOM Account?

No. CAPCOM Accounts are completely free to register and use.

 A variety of complementary services for Capcom games

【Smartphone apps】
 Verifying your CAPCOM Account from inside certain apps allows you to transfer your app data if you change devices, for instance when you buy a new device or if you have lost or damaged your original device.
 The following apps are currently supported (Japan only)

?. How do I register a CAPCOM Account?

You can register using your email address by clicking on Register.
You must have an internet-enabled PC or Smartphone (and browser) to register an account.
(CAPCOM Accounts cannot be registered using regular mobile phones).

?. How do I unregister my account?

You can unregister by logging into a CAPCOM Account-supported service, selecting Manage Account, and clicking on Unregister.

?. How do I change my login email address?

You can change your email address by logging into a CAPCOM Account-supported service, selecting Manage Account, and clicking on Personal Information.

?. How do I change my nickname, address, phone number, or name?

You can change your info by logging into a CAPCOM Account-supported service, selecting Manage Account, and clicking on Personal Information.

?. Can I register more than one CAPCOM Account?

Yes, if you own more than one email address. (n.b. only one CAPCOM Account can be registered to a single email address)

?. Can I merge the data from multiple accounts into a single CAPCOM Account.

Unfortunately this is not possible.

?. Do I have to insert my personal information in order to register a CAPCOM Account?

No, all personal information other than an email address is optional, except if you wish to use the account to place orders on e-capcom.

?. Can I link my account with Facebook or Twitter?

You can link Facebook and Twitter accounts by viewing the Manage Account page and selecting Other Accounts. For details on how to register other accounts please see the dedicated pages on each service's Q&A page.

?. How can I unlink my Facebook or Twitter accounts?

You can unlink your accounts by viewing the Other Accounts page on the Account Management page.

?. What are the requirements for the supported services?

?. Are there any Smartphone apps?

Some services such as Monhan-bu and Resident Evil.Net feature dedicated smartphone apps.

?. Are regular mobile phones supported?

Some features and services may not work correctly when accessed with a regular mobile.

?. What does Account Link mean?

Linking accounts means linking your CAPCOM Account with a game account.

?. How do I link my accounts?

Please link your accounts by following the instructions available on the individual services.

?. Can I link more than one game account with my CAPCOM Account?

You can link multiple game accounts as long as they are for different platforms.
Only one game account for each platform can be linked to a single CAPCOM Account.

?. Can I link a single game account to multiple CAPCOM Accounts?

No, any given game account can only be linked to a single CAPCOM Account.

?. I tried to register a CAPCOM Account but I haven't received the confirmation email yet.

Please check that the confirmation email was not flagged as spam by your email client or service provider.
Make sure to add capcom.com to the domain whitelist if necessary.

?. I cannot access the URL in the confirmation email.

The URL sent in the confirmation email is only valid for 2 hours. If you are unable to complete registration within 2 hours,
please repeat the registration process form the beginning.

?. My email address or password is flagged as incorrect when I try to log in.

Please check your email address and password for any errors.
If your email address is correct, please try resetting your password by following the Forgot your Password? Link.
(Passwords can only be reset with a PC or Smartphone browser).

?. I received an U0003 "Invalid Account" error message.

This error is displayed when you attempt to access a game account other than the one linked to your CAPCOM Account.
Please log in using the game account linked to your CAPCOM Account.

?. I received an U0004 or U0008 "This ID has already been registered" error message.

This error is caused by one of the following:

- When trying to link a game account that has already been linked to another CAPCOM Account.

- When trying to link a game account linked to a CAPCOM Account that was unregistered less than 7 days ago.

(After unregistering a CAPCOM Account, 7 days must pass before any linked game accounts can be relinked)

?. I received an "Email not found" error message when I try to reset my password.

This message is displayed when the email address you entered is not registered to a CAPCOM Account.
Please register a new account first.

(Logins for services such as e-capcom that have been unified under the CAPCOM Account service are no longer accessible.

Please register a new CAPCOM Account before continuing to link your previous data).

?. I've forgotten my password

You can reset your password by clicking on the "Forgot your password" link on the login page
(Passwords can only be reset using a PC or Smartphone browser).
